Artistry Equipment Library
Over $100K in professional cameras, lenses, lighting, production gear, and software, put directly in the hands of artists nationwide at no cost.
Access is earned through Creative Equity Hours, because we believe the tools to make great work should never be out of reach.
Earned, not rented
Inspired by the sweat-equity model behind Habitat for Humanity, the Equipment Library runs on Creative Equity Hours. Instead of paying rental fees, members earn access by giving back: volunteering, sharing their skills, and helping fellow creatives.
It is a community supporting its own. Artists help one another, and in return the gear and software they need reaches them at no cost. We believe it is the first creative equipment library of its kind.
I’ve always respected Habitat for Humanity’s ethics & ethos; I’ve spent years on their builds. Something that always stayed with me was how families earn their home by helping build others’. That spirit of giving back is the heart of our artistry library. Creative Equity Hours is our way of carrying their example into our creative community.
— Laura Linda Bradley, Founder
The gear shouldn’t decide who gets to create. By removing cost and geography from the equation, the Equipment Library lets talent, not budget, determine what an artist can build.
Help grow the library
Every piece of equipment extends the library’s reach to another artist. We welcome donations of professional gear, and partnerships with funders and grantmakers who want to expand access nationwide.
