Our founder
A note from Laura
I started Whats My Frame two weeks into the pandemic. What began as a way to bring hope and community to fellow artists quickly outgrew my wildest imagination. Seven seasons. Over 200 episodes. A global library of conversations artists turn to for guidance, perspective, and the reminder that they are not alone.
But community wasn’t enough. I watched artists with extraordinary talent walk away from the industry because they lacked access. They couldn’t afford equipment or training. They were carrying the weight of rejection and financial instability with no support system at all.
That’s why I started Artistry Foundation, a commitment to expand access for every artist.
We built mentorship programs that connect emerging artists with working professionals. Financial education built for the realities of a creative career. Wellness programs that treat an artist’s mental health as seriously as their craft. An equipment library that ships professional gear nationwide, at no cost to the creatives. A retreat that gives artists uninterrupted time to grow. And through our partnership with Little Flowers, a production pipeline so the work our artists create doesn’t stay in the classroom, it gets made.
